Valley Goldmine is excited to announce partnerships with two organizations in 2012. Make-A-Wish Foundation and Christian Services (adoption and foster care specialists). We are giving our customers the chance to be a part of making a huge difference in our community by allowing them to take a portion of their payout and donate it to one of these groups. Valley Goldmine will match each gift given by our customers. We can do more together than we can by ourselves. Starting March 1, 2012 we will keep a running total in our stores so our customers can see the ongoing progress of how we are helping kids and families in our own community.

Valley Goldmine will also continue to help with designated fundraisers for other causes and organizations as we always have. Last year we helped with adoptions, rebuilding homes in Joplin, send a little league team to the Little League World Series, buildings for missions groups in Haiti, medical expenses for individuals struggling to pay their bills while going through a life threatening illness and several more. Gold Rush in Oklahoma

Tonight is the 2nd to last episode of Gold Rush. The Hoffmans have finally found some gold (after almost two years). It’s been fun to watch the journey of this show and I think The Discovery Channel has me hooked on the new show Bering Sea Gold as well. What people will go through to find gold!

There is a way that is a bit simpler for you to find gold. We just had a customer in our store in Edmond at 33rd and Broadway Extension. He had a bet with his wife that she had over an ounce of gold that was broken and unusable in the bottom of her jewelry box…guess who won the bet? Yes, he did. They had a little over an ounce and at today’ price of over $1,700.00 for an ounce he did quite well. In the end he has to take her to Mahogany Prime Steakhouse but I guess technically she is buying .

$1,100 Plus for Sharon!
